Born, 1935: Easton Pennsylvania, Raised in Akron Ohio
1954: Enlisted in the U.S. Air Force
1974: Retired from U.S. Air Force
1974: Started College at the University of North Texas
1982: Earned a Ph.D. in Communication Research from the University of Iowa
1982-2000: Taught at Valparaiso University, Central College of Iowa, University of Maine, Presque Isle, and Indiana University East.
1997-2000: Served as Chairperson of the Division of Humanities and Fine Arts, Indiana University East.
2000: Retired from full-time college teaching
Currently: Part-time faculty at Miami University, Hamilton, Ohio
