Not the best, but....

Location: Pleasanton, California (San Francisco area East Bay)

Time: 10 am PST

Weather: Between storms, light wind, gust to 10, 50 degrees

Aircraft: Hobby Lobby Sunny Boy, Mega 16x15x4, 3.6:1 Gearbox, 10x7 Slowflyer prop, 3 Cell Kokam 1500's, Castle Creations Phoenix 25

Details of the area....ok...this is where I live, and I'm lucky enough to have a park that I can drive to in less than a minute. I labeled my house and car in the center of the photo.

This particular day I was flying, playing tag with some playful pigeons...thought I might get some great in flight photos, but when I go home, I realize I hadn't deleted the photos from my last flight, so I got only 8 that I could choose from, not the 55 I thought I had taken!

Being that I was totally impressed with others photos, and unimpressed with mine..I charge up the batts again, changed the gearbox (just a new one) and headed back.

The wind was a lot gustier now, I threw the plane, and it flew for a few feet, then the esc shut it down (I guess the batts dropped below the cutoff voltage...glided a bit, then tried to resume the climbout....yeaowww...not gaining altitude, full power....esc shuts off power......same routine one more time....ok...now I have to land.....hit a slide at the park, broke the fuse in 1/2.....a bummer but repairable. I wish I had a better one to share....lots of puffy clouds, but a bit windy......I may try again today.....if we get a better photo, can we update? or is it a final final when we post....I'm going to post anyway in case I don’t get up again.....thanks
