Description:
This photo was taken at about 10:00 AM this morning at a park within walking distance of my home. The shot was taken looking to the North/North East. If you look just a little left of center on the horizon you can just make out the downtown skyline of the city of Minneapolis which is about 15 miles away.

I originally took the flight this shot was make on as kind of a provisional flight just in case I couldn't get any better weather conditions later in the day. And boy am I glad I did. I also went out to our club flying field this morning at 11:00 AM for our Annual All Season Flyer Kick Off Event, but decided not to fly there. By the time I arrived, the wind had kicked up to about 10 - 20 mph, and I really didn't feel like flying a Slow Stick in wind that stong. Before I left at a little after 12 noon, it had started snowing and sleeting, so all-in-all, not a great day for flying. But I am glad that I was able to participate in this one day AP event. It is a great idea that that I hope to participate in in the future.
