Mount Timpanogas Temple (LDS church) only thing of interest in my town

Weather: @ 12:00 noon Temp 33 Felt like 3.2 Wind 10-20 mph but steady

Aircraft: Slow Stick 400w/D gear all stock other than carbon on leading edge. Etec 1200 3 cell

Woke up to 6" of new snow and flurries.

Need to mount my wifes 3700 so that I can compete w/ the beautiful images everyone else has posted.

Into the wind legs took about 3 minutes to go the length of the building. Downwind leg took about 2 seconds at 40 mph. Lousy conditions. Still can’t feel fingers.

The other picture is the first light of the new year. Had to get up pretty early for this one. Pretty early for New Years Day. The 14,000 mountains in my backyard keep the sun out of the valley till about 8:15 and that’s when I got this shot from my house.
