2007 LRW Online Course Schedule

These online workshops run on e-mail listserves, much like your chapter and RWA® affiliated loops. Workshops vary in length and are conducted via e-mail. No real time or live chats at this time. Participants are subbed into the list for the length of the class then unsubbed when it’s over. These classes are open to anyone with e-mail capability wishing to participate. Please read the following instructions and guidelines carefully before registering. Registration for any class indicates you have read and are willing to abide by all policies and procedures.

Cost of each Workshop is dependent on length of class. Please check information on each listed class for details. LRW members receive a discount.

There are two ways to register for classes, either through PayPal or by snail mail*

PAYPAL: Send an email with your FULL NAME, TITLE OF CLASS, EMAIL, and ALTERNATE EMAIL address if available to LRW Online Class Coordinator. Then go to Paypal.com to remit payment to: Lou_Romance_Writers@hotmail.com. Be sure to list the title of the class you are paying for in the comment/note section so payments can be matched with applications quicker. The email you register with is the one used for confirmations unless you specify otherwise.

Snail Mail: print out application, fill in, mail with payment to address listed.
NOTE TO INTERNATIONAL REGISTRANTS: Please send US BANK/PAYPAL TRANSERS ONLY—checks will NOT be processed or returned.

ATTENTION--IMPORTANT FOR ALL REGISTRANTS--If you have spam filtering software on your email account that requires you to add allowed emails from outside sources you MUST add this email to the list: preselectlrw@insightbb.com. Otherwise, you may not receive confirmation information and/or invitations to join the class. You should also check with the Online Coordinator upon receiving confirmation of registration for chosen class as to the Yahoo loop addresses you may need to add. Though we will try to catch these problems, the Online Coordinator and LRW are not responsible for any failure to receive confirmations. If you have registered for a class and have not received confirmation or invitation within 1 week of class, please contact the Online Coordinator.

After submitting your registration and paying your course fees, you will either receive an INVITATION to join the group from Yahoo!groups that you MUST reply to in order to take the course, or you will confirmation that you have automatically been ADDED to the class loop, depending on the amount of students in the class. It is important to provide a working email on your registration form.

Please note cut-off dates for registration and costs for each class are posted under class offerings.

Understand that admission to the workshop depends on receipt of this correct information on registration and payment fee before the cut-off date for the workshop chosen. If the payment fee is received AFTER the cut-off date, the payment fee may be returned or applied to another workshop of your choosing.

REFUND POLICY/SPAM FILTERING

NOTE: No refunds will be given for withdrawing from a workshop or for failing to allow invitations or adds to a class because of spam filtering software. It is the student's responsibility to ensure they are using an email address that allows them to participate in the class. In the event a workshop is canceled by the instructor LRW offers the option of taking another workshop or the return of payment. In the event the student misses the cutoff date for a workshop, the payment check will be returned or another workshop can be selected.

If you would like to JOIN our chapter as a long distance member, please fill out the application on the JOIN page and remit payment either by check or paypal—as instructed. Dues payment may be made at the same time as class registration--in order to receive the discounted rate, notify the online coordinator of membership payment.
