Primitive Mason Jar Lamp

   These lamps are made with vintage, 1 quart, canning jars with vintage zinc lids.  The jars vary between Mason, Kerr, and Ball brands.  All of them are vintage.  The lights inside are my little electric votive candles that have a 6 foot cord that exits from the base of the jar and on/off switches.

   There is a homespun tie around the neck of each one.  You may specify a color and I will try to accommodate your choice.

    These lights add primitive charm and a warm glow to any room in the house.

Rusty Star Tin Pan Lamp

    This lamp is an original, handmade with a rusty, star shaped, candle pan to which I added an electric taper candle that has a 6 foot cord which exits from the base of the pan and has an on/off switch. It comes with a beautiful amber colored silicone dipped flicker bulb that gives it a very candle like ambiance.  Tarts are not included.

Rusty Fluted Tin Bowl Lamp

    This lamp is an original, handmade with a rusty, fluted tin bowl candle pan to which I added an electric taper candle that has a 6 foot cord which exits from the base of the pan and has an on/off switch. Mason Jar Lamp

     This lamp is made up of a half gallon mason jar filled to the brim with  pine scented, Christmas Tree potpourri.  There is a handmade skirt  that fits at the top of the jar.  The fixture  uses a 60w or less bulb and produces a nice, soft, warm glow that will complement any room you may choose to use it in.   The adapter screws on and off of the jar easily and you can change the contents of the jar seasonally if you choose.  You can also remove the skirt to display your treasures in the jar all by itself!  The cord exits from the side of the adapter.  The shade is included.

Everlasting Courting Candle

     Courting candles were used traditionally by fathers when a girl had a suitor who came to visit.  Her father would set the candle at the height he chose depending on whether or not he liked the boy.  If he favored him, he would set the candle high to allow them lots of time.  But if he wasn't sure about the young man's intentions, he would lower the candle.  When the candle reached the top of the wire, the boy had to leave.  In today's culture, I think these candles would make a great reminder to those of us who are married that "courting" helps to keep a relationship alive and growing.   

     If these courting candles ever burn out, all you have to do is change the bulb!  They stand about 4" wide and 10" tall (as pictured) and each one is accented with a homespun tie.  The candle is adjustable by turning the peg at the bottom!  Silicon dipped bulb is included!

Cute Little Mini Lamp 2

   This little lamp is made up of a 24 oz. atlas mason jar to which I added my own handmade electric taper candle and a mini shade.  The cord exits near the base of the jar through a grommeted hole to protect it from fraying.  It is accented with a homespun bow at the base of the candle. It is chock full of cinnamon potpourri but the contents could be changed seasonally to create  a year round primitive ambiance for your home.  The shade is painted "nubby lenin" and is included with the lamp!
