I was listening to WNKU at work Thursday night (as nearly every night) and the Fetters/Nyswonger camp got a double-dose of love, all in the span of 2.5 hours. At around 10:10pm, Pam Temple played the raisins' version of "Fear... ". At around 12:40am, Michael Byrd played "Problem Song" from Terminal Boulevard. I haven't heard anything from Bob's new release on there yet. If you're tuned in, do they have a copy, Bob? If any out-of-towners are interested in listening in to a great radio station, here's a link: http://www.publicbroadcast.net/wnku/ppr/index.shtml The Canal Street/Southgate House shows were a great time! Good to see Scooob at both (thanks for the youtube.com video links and the WOXY show on CD)! Good to see everyone else as well. Thanks to my friend Jeff for a brief synopsis of the Indy sets (he called me as he was leaving the track). Basically, he said that the first set was great, with weather ranging from sunny to cloudy and windy (sounds like the first set last year). Shortly into the break, it poured down long enough to put the band behind schedule for the second set, and it was cut short as a result. But STILL great stuff from the 'dots, per his report (who'd doubt him?). In a Faux Frenchmen-kind-of-vein, I got this link from a James Gang users group site the other night. There sure hasn't been much talk about the disc here, which is making me think y'all would rather I just shut up & play the bass. -Bob ++ psychodots ++ Date: Monday, June 12, 2006 4:40 PM From: George Cunningham Subject: Faux Frenchmen Key Into Art Gallery Party Fellow Faux French Fathers, Followers & Fanatics; Below is the skinny on "Key into Art," a family-friendly downtown Father's Day event we Faux Frenchmen will be serenading this Sunday, 6/18 at the Weston Gallery, adjacent to the Aronoff Center.
