Rev. Shirley Topar is a member of
North Central Presbytery living in Grand Rapids MI. She serves as
Minister of Visitation (weddings and funerals) for John Knox Presbyterian
Church in Grand Rapids, MI and graduated from Austin Presbyterian Theological
Seminary, She is a volunteer writer for The Cumberland Presbyterian
magazine. She was elected Moderator at the fall 2007 meeting of
presbytery. Her motto is: Have sermon, will travel!
Rev. Melissa Goodloe is a member of
North Central Presbytery living in Evansville IN. She is a chaplain at the
Branchville Correctional Facility in Indiana and married to Can. Timothy
Goodloe.
Debra Shanks is the Treasurer of the
presbytery, elected to that position in 1995. She grew up in the First C.
P. Church in Louisville, Kentucky, a former member of G. A. C., current member
of the denominational Board of Stewardship, Foundation and Benefits and a
member of the New Hope congregation, which is the home congregation of husband
Roy.
The Recording Clerk of the
presbytery is Ruth J. Gates, elected to that position in 1995. She is
husband to Rev. J. B. Gates, pastor of the Cumberland Chapel congregation.
Rev. Ralph Blevins is the Stated Clerk of the presbytery, elected to that position in 2007. He is pastor of the Elm River CPC, also employed by the Canadian National Railway and husband to Chris.
