Product Master Data Analyst

Building on twenty plus years experience constructing and maintaining ERP and MRP systems for manufacturing facilities. Started on an IBM System 36 creating bill of materials and maintaining product data in MAPICS software to help schedule the ordering of materials to fabricate fine wood office furniture. Currently perform all SAP material master, bill of material, and routing maintenance functions, including standard costing, and change control to aid in coordinating the order fulfillment of SentrySafe brand fire resistent document and data media protection products.

Performed the key role as Product Master Data Analyst during two MRP system migrations for two companies reconstructing master data, routings, and bill of material on each new MRP system. First migration from MAPICS to JBA's System 21 with full backflush from finished goods to purchased material reporting, the second from PACS to SAP with repetitive manufacturing and discrete manufacturing reporting.

Change Control Administrator

Manage day to day all SentrySafe Cannelton:

• DOCs - Document/Drawing Only Changes, Engineering drawing, material specifications, and Work Instruction Document changes.
• BICs - Bill of Material Instant Changes, routing and bill of material changes in SAP.
• ECRs - Engineering Change Requests, can include drawing, work instruction, process, routing, and bill of material changes.
• Product change history log - Record changes, product models, dates, and related change documents.

Work Instruction Administrator and Author

Create and maintain work instructions with photos for many production tasks to help improve effiency, maintain consistancy, and ensure product quality. Document all of my own tasks in work instruction format as well as administer an intranet WEB menu (screen shot left of this section) for all SentrySafe Cannelton manufacturing and office work instructions.

IT Professional

Proficient in the use of all various Microsoft Windows operating systems, MS Excel, MS Access, MS Word, MS Powerpoint, MS Outlook, and AutoCad. Also well aclimated with IBM System i Business computers using AS400/OS, Query/400, MAPICS, PACS, JBA System 21, and SAP ERP/MRP systems for manufacturing enviroments. Can also function well using Linux/Unix operating systems of any type.

Annual Physical Inventory Facilitator

Facilitating, organizing, and supporting physical inventories for the past 18 years has been a another common denominator in my last two positions as a Product Master Data Analyst for Fire King and SentrySafe/Schwab. Utilized product knowledge, engineering drawing experience, ERP/MRP material number, and bill of material knowledge to help expedite and insure physical inventory accuracy annually at both companies.
