This breeding of Buddy x Abby will produce solid performance, hunting and companion Labs.  The top AKC Derby, QAA, Hunt Test dogs currently, are the result of crossing the two top producing Sire lines in the Nation.  History has proven that the  Harley to Go – Honest Abe and Trumarc's Zip Code line has proven very successful in producing Labradors with the intelligence and tractability required to achieve the high degree of training it takes to make truly top performance Labs that also excel at hunting and as first class companions.  These Sire lines combined with the Dam lines from the breeding of one of the top producing bitch lines in the nation--the Hunters Marsh Jasmine Tea line--to the Chavez - Lean Mac line will achieve the solid background needed to not only produce the high degree of compatibility and sound genetics we all breed to attain, but will also allow these characteristics to be passed on to this litter.  These pups will also have a perfect "Derby birthdate".  

These puppies will be born in Kentucky and cared for by Gary and Mary Hext who own Abby.  They are long-time clients and friends of mine.  Abby was from my repeat breeding of our Jasmine, who qualified at the 1996 Master National,  and Chavez who currently has 139 A-A points, 110 Open points, has qualified for 13 U.S. & Canadian Nationals.   I selected  Buddy for this first breeding of Abby, and plan to keep one of the pups in order to continue my own "Jasmine" line.

Abby received her basic training  from me personally and her owners  train at Hunters Marsh frequently.  I have watched her progress through her UKC HR and HRCH titles, her AKC Senior Hunter title and now her work at the Master Level.  This dog is very deliberate in her actions, is an excellent marker and does outstanding blind work.  Abby is also a very strong water dog.   She has tons of desire and is eager to please.  Gary and Mary take Abby everywhere they go whether it is shopping, visiting friends, trips, or duck or dove hunting.  She is a great family companion and house dog with two other dogs and three cats.
