Well, I value my immortal soul, so I can't really give Jesus a bad review can I? Actually this is a fun movie, a crazy idea, a stupid plot and some silly singing and dancing. But, I have to say that I found "Mary Magnum" and her tight metallic jumpsuit well worth watching. And, as you may have figured out by now, I have a soft spot in my heart for movies with lesbian vampires...but who doesn't?

It appears there is a mad scientist (that's new, right?) with a plot to let vampires walk in the sunlight. Who does the church call upon to stop this new threat? None other than the main man, JC himself. I think that Phil Caracas did a good job of mugging for the camera and striking martial arts poses as JC. I would have been happier with more miracles...but then you wouldn't really need the kung fu, would you?

If you're not easily offended by religious satire, slapstick violence, mexican wrestlers, lesbians and musical theatre, then you may enjoy this off beat cult classic from our friends up North. Me, I'm sticking with Robo Vampire, call me if they release an all "Mary Magnum" spin-off movie.
