Ok, it's low budget...but ambitious. First off, seeing the villainess dressed like Witchblade on the back cover made this a must buy DVD. A fair warning, the audio quality is poor, so very low that we had to turn the volume all the way up to listen to it. The concept isn't all that original, demons break through into our demension and an elite covert group must destroy them. But the makers of this movie are obviously fans of the genre as we mix demons, martial arts, high tech weapons and hot chicks.

It's very "comic-booky" but if you know me, that's not a bad thing. If you look close, you'll see the weapons from this movie were bought at a Sci-Fi convention...swords from LOTR and a Lawgiver from Judge Dredd. I was impressed by the demon armor worn by one of the characters and over all it's a fun movie. Don't look for brilliant dialogue or acting, but that's not what you were really expecting, was it? I don't know what their budget was, but like ULTRAVIOLET I think they were able to use CG effects to pull off a lot with little money. I suggest renting it before buying it, or maybe pick it up used if you are lucky enough to find it. I'm glad to have it in my collection.
