This morning, on their cable-car commute through San Francisco, they were all strangers. Now six individuals are flying on Elena La Brava's private jet towards a mysterious cloud that's managing to move despite the lack of wind in the air. Transformed, somehow, by a bolt of energy from the clear sky, they want to learn the truth of why they've received these powers. What they find is a mysterious island, suspended in the sky and hidden by a belt of clouds.
