Magneto, Rogue and Nick Fury face off against Zaladane and her group in the Savage Land. They manage to destroy the tower that provides her with power, but mainly because Rogue`s powers have returned to her. Magneto, however, decides not to be merciful in his treatment of her. Meanwhile, the X-Men break free of Deathbird when Wolverine and Jubilee discover that the manacle can only adapt to one powerset at a time. The X-Men break free and join Lilandra and the Starjammers in returning Lilandra to her throne, learning in the process that Xavier is acting as her warlord. Unfortunately, Xavier seems to have changed, and Gambit and Jubilee learn that he was behind Deathbird`s assault and plans to take out the X-Men as well.
