Harry Potter Scarf
I started this scarf (the burgundy/gold one) on Thurday night (June 3, 2004). I had made a
PS/COS scarf before, but I needed a POA style scarf to wear while I saw
the new Harry Potter movie. I finished it Friday -- while I was at the theater.
As soon as I sewed in the last end and put my stuff away, the lights went out
and the trailers started. Just in time!
This is how I made it. Materials: I hook. Burgundy yarn. Gold Yarn. Scissors,
yarn needle.
With burgundy yarn, ch 32. Dc in 4th ch from hook, and in each chain across.
Edited on 11/9/05: For the thinner scarf, ch 21. Dc in 4th ch from hook, and in each ch across. Continue on with pattern.
*Ch 3, turn. Dc in each dc.* Ch 3, turn. Repeat from * to * for 9 rows.
Change color to gold. With gold, ch 3, turn. Dc in each dc across.
Change back to burgandy. *Ch 3, turn. Dc in each dc across* Repeat for 2 rows.
Change to gold. With gold, ch 3, turn. Dc in each dc across.

rows of burgundy. Add fringe if desired.
