Evolution: to change, transform, develop, advance, grow, rise, progress, adapt, modify..... to learn and evolve as artists.

We have challenged ourselves over the past 12 months to work with each other and on our own to learn and evolve as artists. Our exhibition is the culmination of our efforts.

The Evolution of Three Artists

One of the uses of my art is to honor my father. He was a printmaker and painter.  When I work on my own art, his words still keep echoing in my head. I used this opportunity to continue my voyage, though creating and learning.

I use my art to honor my father, who is an outstanding faux painter and parent.  He has instilled in me the importance and value of good morals and work ethics while also finding the time to show me painting techniques along the way.  It is for these life lessons and heart-felt teachings that I wish to respect him through this show.

I have worked to create drawings & paintings which illustrated a year of my life and of those around me. This collaboration has been an opportunity for creating and learning from each other as well.
