This is a commissioned piece. It's tricky working on pastel paper- have to cover up the orange background. Plus it smears alot. I have to spray the black so it won't smear on the white. It takes a few coats of white to cover the orange paper.

In my efforts to become a better artist, I am going to strive to work on completing a painting each week. I would try to do one each day, but not sure I could honor that commitment with all my kid commitments (soccer). I'm working on dragons for my nephew Jack.
