A soda invented and manufactured in Waco, Texas that was originally distributed only in Texas and Louisville, Kentucky, Big Red soda is mentioned by ChopTop in a deleted scene, Nubbins "drinks" it out of a bottle with a straw, and it appears in the tub of ice in the back room of K-OKLA. It's currently distributed throughout the United States, it's still created, owned and manufactured by Texans, and most people claim that it tastes a bit like bubble gum.

The Beatles poster hanging in Stretch's K-OKLA studio displays the original 1966 album cover from "The Beatles Yesterday And Today", which is commonly referred to as "The Butcher Cover" and was recalled by Capitol Records. It features the Beatles posing in butcher smocks with raw meat and doll parts, but it was pulled from the market before many copies and promotional items were released in order to avoid controversy and potential damage to the Beatles' reputation.

In his hotel room, Lefty was drinking Dos Gusanos (which means two worms in English) mezcal. It does, in fact, contain two agave worms, even though the law in most areas prohibits tequila from containing worms. Dos Gusanos is bottled in Mexico, but owned and distributed by the David Sherman Corporation based in St. Louis, Missouri. Official Site: David Sherman Corp.

The Hoodoo Gurus poster hanging in Stretch's K-OKLA studio features the cover art from the Australian band's 1985 album "Mars Needs Guitars!". Although I've yet to track down the full sized poster, "Mars Needs Guitars!" is available on CD in two different formats, and the imported version contains bonus live tracks and a fold out poster (though it's costs more than twice as much as the regular CD).

If you look closely, you'll notice that "One Willie Buzz" and "Rick The Prick" have a Native Texan bumper sticker on the back trunk area of their Mercedes (in addition to the custom license plate that proclaims FAH Q). Bumper Sticker: South Texas Online Products

Although I personally feel that televised poker is a waste of time, money and brain cells, it has made holographic glasses more widely available and popular. These aren't an exact replica of Rick's glasses, but they're pretty damn close and the best I've managed to find to date. Glasses: House Of Chuckles

Everyone who consumes beer in The Texas Chainsaw Massacre 2 is sucking down a Shiner Bock. The teen yuppies drank it, Stretch drinks some while on air, there are Shiner cases in the back room of K-OKLA, L.G. drinks it as he builds his fry house, there's a Shiner poster in the studio that reads "Come An' Take It", etc. Shiner Bock is an award winning beer brewed at the The Spoetzl Brewery located in Shiner, Texas, but sadly, it isn't available in some states.

This may be one of the most prevalent musical "props" in The Texas Chainsaw Massacre 2. Not only is Stretch wearing a ZZ Top t-shirt in the opening scenes, the 1983 "Eliminator" LP can also be seen propped up against the tape display in the studio. ZZ Top is from Houston, Texas and amazingly enough, their inclusion of in TCM2 was intentional, primarily because Stretch's ZZ Top t-shirt was even mentioned in the first draft of the script (although she was supposed to wear it in a different scene).

Humble Pie's live 1971 release "Performance: Rockin' The Fillmore" is the LP that ChopTop comments on in the record vault. It was recorded at the Fillmore East, which is located in the East Village area of New York City and was initially distributed as a double LP. Humble Pie was a British band that included Peter Frampton & this particular release was considered to be one of the best live albums of the 1970's.

This is the Fine Young Cannibals poster that hangs on the wall Leatherface saws down between the back room and studio in K-OKLA, which is a grey scale bastardization of the cover for the 7" 45RPM LP single of "Suspicious Minds" released in 1986 by IRS/A&M records (#IRS-52836). The colorized version that adorns the cover of the single was blue and yellow (type blue, background yellow), and this particular poster was likely a promotional item that will be almost impossible to find. On one of the hallway walls in K-OKLA, you'll see this promotional poster for "Tuff Enuff", the 1986 release by The Fabulous Thunderbirds, a rock/blues band founded in Austin, Texas in 1974. Apparently, this poster was purely a promotional item and not offered commercially, but you can find it on eBay from time to time.

A poster for Bruce Springsteen's 1984 album, "Born In The U.S.A." can be seen on the wall in the hallway outside of the metal door that separated Stretch from Leatherface. Although I'm not entirely sure what a "canvas poster" is, it was the only one I managed to find on a site other than eBay. Considering its popularity at the time and the disturbingly oversaturated market, I'd be shocked if it's ever considered to be rare or collectible though.

On the wall next to the "I like your approach" bumper sticker is a magazine advertisement for the 1985 Doors VHS Video release "Dance On Fire". This was probably one of the most difficult items to identify, simply because the advertisement didn't graphically match the promotional posters or the VHS covers, and it features an extremely popular photo of Jim Morrison. Nevertheless, the video runs for 65 minutes and includes live and televised performances, promotional footage and clips from "behind the scenes". Again, this is another item that might be tough to find unless you happen to run across it in a magazine published around 1985.

Although I doubt that Drayton's smashing red bowtie was made of silk, this one is & it's pretied so you can focus on perfecting your award winning chili recipe rather than trying to master the art of tying a bowtie properly.
