Laydown License Plate:
To install a brake light LED strip under the tour pack, I had to move the license plate. I had seen several ideas on the VRF on how to make a laydown license plate. I had already installed the Kuryakyn licence plate kit which came with a solid back plate. I took off the stock assembly and drilled two holes in the back plate matching the stock bolt holes. I bought some flat head screws to mount the back plate. To keep it off the fender, I used a piece of mouse mat and a piece of stiff plastic between the pad and back plate. Looks and works great.
