Greeting. In 1967 I was born in Covington Kentucky, and for as long as I can remember have been fascinated with vampiric lore. However, as much as I enjoyed the old vampire flicks and books, I had often wondered how such a creature would exist in the real world. What sort of difficulties would they face? What sort of joys would they know?

     Though always interested in writing, I never gave any real thought to doing it professionally, at least not until my husband and several of my on-line friends began to encourage me to give it a try. It didn't take long for me to realize that this was a perfect opportunity to share something personal with others of the same interest.

     So, with nothing more than my own creative passion and love of storytelling, I sat down one summer's night and typed out the first sentence. I had no idea where it would lead, but with a lot of love, late hours, and monitor-induced headaches, each character slowly came to life. Bloodkiss has proven quite a learning experience, and I'm hoping my sequel will be even more enthralling.
