CLI is the Christian Leadership Institute. It is a national program, and one that the Diocese of Owensboro sponsors every year. I have been fortunate to be a part of this leadership training as both a participant and a team member. This year, for the first time, I was entrusted with a small group. But don't worry, there was a "real adult" with me to keep things in check. Here's just a few shots from the week . . .
And on the very last day of the week, my group decided it was time for them to get a little bit closer. I guess their deoderant finally started working that day. |

And heeeeeeeeeere's BRYAN!!!!! |
Ole Semi Josh thought he was Ray Charles or something on the guitar. | Ahhhh, a little bit of mooooooood lighting. |
Work it, ladies! Show 'em your moves!
Camp LIFE has a special place in my heart and I was glad to be able to return to it this summer, after having to miss out last summer. It's a week-long camp experience for high school kids throughout the diocese. It's basically a lot of fun and a lot of sweat! :-D
Uhhh, Bryan, you be swingin' a tad bit early for that one. Nice try, buddy. |
Hi Patrick! That's a mighy nice sleeve you've got on your head. Where'd you get it? Did it cost 2 million dollars? |

John's workin' it on the mid-ropes course. Full 10 points for style and grace. | Ohhhh, Big Bird . . . your group totally bailed on you and you wound up getting soaked! Don't worry, your feathers will dry soon enough. | ||
Yeah, um, that big white-grayish thing next to the ground is a big block of ice! Yowza! But, ya know, do what ya gotta do to get the thing melted. GET ER DONE! |

"Waterpipe36" working their magic and earning their, um, 'interesting' group name. |
I don't think I have ever known a game that is more entertaining to watch than tetherball. I laughed so hard I nearly cried while watching Mooner and Haleybird play. And even to watch the movie of it can still crack me up. |
Piggyback rides are reserved only for my PAL Haleybird! *wink, wink* |

. . . .And a whole bunch of crazy characters from Xavier University (wooo hooo!) decided to show up for the festivites. |
