Q4 2002 & Q1 2003

Very important UPDATE 5 -March 2003!!! I was so excited about finishing the pack that I put it up without changing the old link :D. It's fixed now, and some people figured out how to change it and make it work before this, but go download now if you had trouble, the link works ;)

UPDATE 4 -March 2003!! The Complete DDR GB Mix for DWI is finished and exclusively hosted here!! There's also a few little bonuses included in this pack, so what are you waiting for? Go download it already!! :D

UPDATE 3 :(-March 2003... I looked at the step set for the [Hard] mode of Butterfly from the GameBoy DDR 1st Mix and it's the exact same steps as the Butterfly we all know from the regular arcade DDR 1st Mix. It's the regular set of steps that are in the GameBoy DDR 1st Mix that are different. I need to either find myself, or get someone who knows to inform me of any extra information they have about these step sets...and I'm still hoping that someone has already coded them or atleast has step charts for them so I don't have to take the extra time myself to get them. I would appreciate it if anyone with this information would contact me. All the graphics are done now, all I have left is this step set and the syncing of Paranoia Max ~Dirty Mix~ and the complete set is done. I got ahold of Lawrence from DDRUK, but he is deathly ill right now so I have to wait until he's better before I can get his help. I'm still going to try and finish the set as soon as possible. Keep checking back daily as this set will be complete very soon!

UPDATE 2!!-March 2003... Well, my work on the first DWI pack of the GameBoy DDR Mixes is almost done! I have a few more banners and bg's to make, I have to sync two more songs, and if I have time I'm going to code the steps for the Butterfly [Hard] step set (exclusive step set to the GameBoy DDR 1st Mix - never been coded before for DWI). Whether I code the steps or not, I DO have, and will include the folder for it with the banner and bg (the mp3 is the same as the gb butterfly mp3). That way, when the steps are coded finally, all you have to do is download that update zip and add it in manually and the set will be complete.

On a technical note, the GameBoy versions of DDR have background videos (cheesy versions of what we used to see on 3rd mix with the dancer on the screen). I have ripped one just to see how it would go and most importantly to get your guys feedback on what you think of it...if you like it and want the rest, I will rip them all and see if I can get DDRUK or someone else to host them for us (they would be a separate bumper pack that you could download and add to each song folder individually). So for now, until I'm done with the entire 1st mix set, I have uploaded a DWI zip file for the GameBoy DDR 1st Mix version of Dub-I-Dub with the video. Please, PLEASE, email me or IM me on AIM when I'm on to give me feedback on this project...especially the bg video, so I can know what you (the leechers :D) like and don't like. Also, the NES Remix Pack has been taken down now. If you want it, you can find it on my fserve when I'm on DDRUK's or DDRManiaX's IRC channels, and there's other people who have it as well. I'll keep the banner up though since some people may not have it.

UPDATE March 2003... The biggest news is that I finally broke the 3,000 mark with my DWI/SM Collection! 3,134 songs currently!! I am still working on the GameBoy DWI packs, but I am basically doing all the work myself now. I haven't had the chance to talk to Lawrence from DDRUK lately and Twen was initially helping me with the banners...but for some reason the banners were all showing up rotated and zoomed in a very strange way and we could not figure out why...so I had to unfortunately not use his banners :( Twen's work is well known in the community and I was really looking forward to using his banners. It's not that it's going to be hard for me to do them myself, it just would've saved me some time and I enjoy working with others on projects :) Also, I am working on adding a bunch more links, I'm going to try and get atleast the first GB DWI Pack up this week, I re-did my site layout a bit (I'm so new at html still, so I hope it all turned out ok =\ and some long shots- I want to get a list of my entire collection up for download as well as create a sort of "What are these and/or who created them" in an attempt to get people from the community to help me figure out some of my miscellaneous DWI/SM files. And lastly, I am going to put up a zip file of all my link buttons that were never used on my site (left-over variations). Not ALL, but a lot of these buttons have been exclusively made by me :)

A small note- February 2003... Sorry for the lack of updates...been very busy. I'm going to try to get Lawrence from DDRUK to help me start and finish the 5 GB mixes for a DWI release as soon as possible. I'm also going to be working on a few more articles/faqs that will be hosted here, as well as @ DDRUK. And lastly, I'm working on getting a complete links section up of all the sites that I frequent... this will also be a great source for all the people who say they have trouble finding DWI files on the net ;)

UPDATE January 2003!! Started uploading my FAQ files that I have written.

UPDATE December 2002!! My NES Remix Pack turned out to be songs from the GameBoy versions of DDR. I have since then ripped all the mp3s from all 5 mixes and plan on creating all 5 complete packs ;)
