     UPDATE January 22, 2006. Am I the only one....Diggnation Japan?! -- I'd like to start this article by saying that I am a loyal Diggnation fan and absolutely love watching Diggnation every week...but there has been something on my mind that I have really been having trouble letting go of...the Diggnation episode from Japan!

In the weeks leading up to the Diggnation episode created in Japan, I (as well as many other Diggnation fans) was really looking forward to this particular episode. Especially since I was under the assumption that it would be like no other Diggnation episode before it...but what I expected to see and what I actually saw were two completely different things. The episode from Japan did nothing to make it stand out from all the other standard episodes from California. As a matter of fact, I truly believe the episode from Japan was even more boring to watch than some of the episodes I've seen that have been recorded at Alex's house.

What happened? Ok, granted, Alex and Kevin showed us how unusual the toilets in the Japanese hotel were....but come on guys! That was it? That was all you could show us from Japan? Even the times when you mentioned the hot Japanese girls on the street, the camera never once panned to ever give us a different view of Japan besides the lame view we had to stare at the entire episode!

I understand that you guys only have so much time and video to work with, but couldn't you have given us fans a special "extra" episode where we got to watch an hour's worth of footage of you guys just having fun in Japan, maybe some funny conversations you had with the natives while there, some shots of you guys getting hammered at one of the many bars you visited....ANYTHING other than us just staring at you guys sitting on an uncomfortable bench with a fairly boring set of neon signs behind you?

Am I the only one that feels this way or are there a lot of fans besides me that would really like Kevin and Alex to hook us fans up with one unique episode where we get to watch something we don't normally get to see?

I thank Kevin and Alex for the time and work that goes into each week's episode and I hope that I didn't offend anyone with what I've just stated.

I look forward to not only hearing Kevin and Alex's thoughts on this, but my many fellow Diggnation fans as well.

Prepare to be stupified!
