January 1, 1933  We went to Eli Sherrard's.

January 2, 1933  Elmer and me hauled in wood, hay, and manure.

January 3, 1933  Elmer and Mildred went to Etown.  I done jobs.  Arthur Owens killed his wife and himself.

January 4, 1933  We done jobs.

January 5, 1933  Claudia Sherrard and Wilbur Eggen was here.  Dad went to Virgil's.

January 6, 1933  We went to Fonrose Nall's.  Dad was at Mr. Williams'.

January 7, 1933  Hauled in load of hay in morning.  Hauled manure in evening.

January 8, 1933  We went to church.  Bro. Sparks came home with us.  Went to Harl Irwin at night.

January 9, 1933  Hauled in morning and fodder in evening.  Dad made chicken feeder.

January 10, 1933  Hauled fodder in morning.  Began plowing in evening.  Mother, Corrine, and Harold was here.

January 11, 1933  Will Jones took calf to Louisville.  Hauled load of hay.

January 12, 1933  I went to Lee's after bull and plowed in evening.

January 13, 1933  I went to Etown.

January 14, 1933  Helped Virgil haul in stack of hay.  Bred Mable.

January 15, 1933  We went to Mr. Williams'.  Dad went to E. Hibbs'.

January 16, 1933  Elmer plowed.  Rained.

January 17, 1933  Rained all day.  Nothing doing.

January 18, 1933  Rained all day.  Elmer went to Eli Sherrard's in evening.

January 19, 1933  Hauled in hay and got some wood.

January 20, 1933  Plowed for Eli.  Rained hard rain at night.

January 21, 1933  Elmer and Virgil went to Etown.  Rained all day.

January 22, 1933  Elmer and Mildred went to Rich Nall's.  Dad went to Harley Irwin's.  Bred Ruby.
