March 1, 1931  Elmer and Mildred was at Ely's.  I was at Virgil's.  Rained.

March 2, 1931  Elmer went to Etown.  We hauled laod of hay.

March 5, 1931  We finished fence around hillside in morning.  Elmer plowed.

March 6, 1931  Elmer and Mildred went to Fenley Bailey's after chickens.  Bob Sherrard and J. D. Nall got some seed corn.  Rained.

March 7, 1931  We shelled our seed corn.  Rained.

March 8, 1931  Rained.  We stayed at home.  Ely was here in evening.  Mrs. Geo. McClure was buried.

March 9, 1931  Ely got some straw.  We shelled Knoop's seed corn.

March 11, 1931  Ely and boys helped clear.  Elmer and Mildred went to Vine Grove in evening.  Mrs. John Pate died.

March 12, 1931  Elmer hauled manure.  Took old Murt to bull.  Plowed in evening.

March 13, 1931  Elmer plowed and I grubbed in morning and sowed cabbage seed.

March 14, 1931  Elmer plowed.  I grubbed.  Jim Smith and Mrs. Emmit Hovey died.  Kit had calf.

March 15, 1931  Virgil's folks and Annie was here.

March 30, 1931  We hauled stack of hay from Mother's place.  Virgil and family was here.

April 1, 1931  Elmer and Mildred went to Etown.  Rained and showered.

April 2, 1931  We went to Elmer Hibbs'.  Got cultivator and to Ely's in morning.  Hauled manure and got load of wood in evening.

April 3, 1931  We worked cleaning out hen house and fixed floor in same.  Rained at night.

April 4, 1931  Elmer shoed Pete and we sowed some lespedeza in morning and hauled manure in evening.

April 5, 1931  I was at H. T. Shelton's.  Elmer and Mildred stayed at home.  Sam Ash's wife died.

April 6, 1931  Jess Cowley got some oats.  Fonrose Nall got some straw.  I went to John Masters' in evening.

April 7, 1931  I went to Etown.  Elmer sowed oats for Knoop.

April 8, 1931  Elmer finished Knoop's oats and harrowed in bottom.  Virgil and I went and got fertilizer.

April 18, 1931  Elmer and Mildred went to Etown.  I went to Virgil's in evening.  Fred Wetterer got hurt.  Henry Rogers died.

April 19, 1931  Rich Nall and wife was here.  I was at Sunday School.
