November 21, 1929  We put up stovepipe at church and hauled slabs.  Cold.  16 above.  We went to church at night.

November 22, 1929  Snow today and still cold.

November 23, 1929  Took load of fodder down to Mr. Knoop's and hauled two loads of manure.

November 24, 1929  I was at Otis Kerrick's in evening.  Elmer and Mildred was at Knoop's.

November 25, 1929  I went to Etown.  Elmer and Mildred was at Ely Sherrard's.  Elmer helped Ely drag logs.

November 26, 1929  I was at W. T. Peck's.  Nothing doing.

November 27, 1929  Me and Wilma Lois went to Eli's at night.  Helped Eli haul logs.

November 28, 1929  Elmer hauled logs for Ely in morning.  Snowed all day.  All of us was at Ely's.

November 29, 1929  Cold.  8 above zero.  Elmer got his heifer from Knoop.

November 30, 1929  5 below zero this morning.


December 1, 1929  I was at Knoop's in evening.  14 above zero this morning.  Snowed at night.

December 2, 1929  We killed a hog today.  Still cold.

December 3, 1929  6 below zero.  We hauled some fodder.

December 4, 1929  4 above zero.  Elmer and Mildred went to Etown.  Me and Wilma Lois went to Ely's.  Uncle Charlie Garner died this morning.

December 5, 1929  I went to Andrew Atcher's in evening.  Elmer helped dig grave for Charlie Garner at Mt. Zion.

December 6, 1929  I went to Virgil's.  Helped butcher a pig.  Elmer hauled 3 loads of slabs.

December 7, 1929  We hauled 3 loads of slabs.  Rained today.  Lillian Cowley and John D. Jones was married today.

December 8, 1929  Virgil's folks and Ely Sherrard was here.

December 9, 1929  We gathered load of corn.

December 10, 1929  We gathered 3 loads of corn.  Bum Miller, Bob, Bill and Jack Sherrard helped.

December 11, 1929  We gathered 3 loads of corn.  I helped Virgil kill 2 pigs.

December 12, 1929  We finished gathering corn.  Got 2 loads today.

December 13, 1929  Elmer hauled load of ties for Ely Sherrard.  I done jobs.  Rained.  Robert Maffett died.

December 14, 1929  Rained.  Took the old sow over to my place.

December 15, 1929  Rained.  I was at E. Hibbs'.  Elmer and Mildred was at Ely's.

December 16, 1929  Rained.  Not much doing.  Bob Sherrard was here.  Elsie had calf.

December 17, 1929  Sent hogs off.  3 hogs weighed 675 pounds.  Brought $60.76.  Calf brought $15.19.  Weighed 130 pounds.  Elmer sold 2 cows to Bob Sherrard.  I was at Virgil's at night.  Bred the old sow.  Rained.

December 18, 1929  Rained all day.  Had Dr. Smith with old Elsie.

December 19, 1929  Snow this morning.  8 above.  George Knoop got a hog.  Weighed 190 pounds.  Nine cents per pound.

December 20, 1929  2 above zero.  Nothing much doing.

December 21, 1929  Elmer and Mildred went to Etown.  Me and Wilma was at Virgil's.  6 above.

December 22, 1929  We stayed at home.  Snowed all day.

December 23, 1929  Elmer and I went to Etown.  12 above zero.

December 24, 1929  Elmer hauled some manure.  I cut some wood.  6 above zero.  Lillian Yates and Richard Nall were married.

December 25, 1929  I was at Mr. Knoop's.  Elmer went to Eli's.

December 26, 1929  Eli Sherrard and family, Corrine Nall, and Grant Kesler were here.  Robert Sherrard was here at night.

December 27, 1929  We hauled in stack of hay.  Bob helped.

December 28, 1929  Virgil was here.  We went hunting.  Bro. Sparks was here at night.  I went to church.  First lamb this morning.

December 29, 1929  We went to church.  Bro. Sparks was here at night.  I was at S. B. Williams.

December 30, 1929  We worked cleaning out fence row between me and Knoop.  Elmer went to Etown.

December 31, 1929  We worked on fence between me and Knoop.  Elmer helped Ely hauled logs.
