September 1, 1925  I was at Ed Ash's.  Clarence Cofer and wife was at Virgil's.

September 2, 1925  We was at Virgil's.  Lee Cofer and wife and Louie Cofer and wife was there.

September 3, 1925  I done jobs.  Elmer and Overt Garner cut bushes.  Virgil fixed to take hogs off.

September 4, 1925  Elmer and Virgil took hogs to Louisville.  Our 5 weighed 920 and brought $117.02.

September 5, 1925  We went to Etown.

September 6, 1925  We stayed at home.

September 7, 1925  We cut some corn at Mother's.

September 8, 1925  We cut some corn in morning and went to Etown with Lee and Clarence Cofer in evening.

September 9, 1925  Gertie and kids was here.  I went after cow at Monroe's and done jobs.  Elmer and Virgil went to Ed Ash's to corn cutting.

September 10, 1925  We finished cutting corn at Mother's.

September 11, 1925  Bessie and I went to Rineyville to see Dr. Rogers for her.  S. B. Williams took us.

September 12, 1925  We cut corn at other place.  Rained at night.

September 13, 1925  We stayed at home.  Roy Viers and family was here.

September 14, 1925  We cut corn at other place.  Fred Wetterer brought our boar home.

September 15, 1925  Boys cut corn 1/2 day at other place.  Rained in evening.  I cleaned out late potatoes and killed 3 squirrels.

September 16, 1925  We cut 60 shocks of corn at other place.

September 17, 1925  We cut corn at other place.

September 18, 1925  Boys cut corn at other place.  I took peaches to Etown.

September 19, 1925  We got done cutting corn in morning.

September 20, 1925  We went to church at Sycamore.  Preacher and wife are here.  Had good rain.

September 21, 1925  Rained some.  We hauled load of pumpkins.

September 22, 1925  We worked on wheat drill.  Rained.

September 23, 1925  I took peaches to Etown.  Elmer went to Etown.  Got fertilizer.  1000 pounds.

September 24, 1925  Bessie and I went to Dr. Rogers and to Wm. Hobbs for dinner.  Boys began sowing oats.

September 25, 1925  We sowed oats in morning and fixed some fence in evening.

September 26, 1925  We fixed some fence.  Elmer disced some for wheat at other place in evening.  Virgil went to Etown and got 2500 pounds of fertilizer.

September 27, 1925  Rained some.  Virgil Masters and family was here in evening.

September 28, 1925  We began sowing wheat at other place.  Sowed 4 7/10 acres.

September 29, 1925  We sowed wheat at other place.

September 30, 1925  We sowed wheat and cut bushes at other place.


October 1, 1925  Rained all day.  We cleaned seed wheat.  Rained all night.

October 2, 1925  Rained.  We done jobs.

October 3, 1925  Boys went to Etown. Got fertilizer and cotton seed, meal and flour.

October 4, 1925  Rained in morning.

October 5, 1925  We cut some cane in morning and helped get some wood at Mother's in evening.

October 6, 1925  We cut some cane in morning and sowed wheat in evening.  Rained at night.

October 7, 1925  Boys cut cane at Mother's.  I went to Etown.

October 8, 1925  We cut cane at Mother's.

October 9, 1925  We cut cane in morning.  Rained in evening.

October 10, 1925  We finished cutting cane at Mother's and cut some at home.  Cold this morning.  30 above.

October 11, 1925  Elmer and I went to Tunnel Hill to Sunday School.

October 12, 1925  We sowed some wheat in morning.  Rained rest of day.

October 13, 1925  I went to telephone meeting in evening at A. N. Garner's.  Pete Stader of Colesburg died.

October 14, 1925  Rained big rain all day long.  Nothing doing.

October 15, 1925  We hauled in 3 shocks of corn in morning and fixed telephone line in evening.  Arie Stader of Colesburg died.

October 16, 1925  Rained big rain.  Rained all day.  Nothing doing.

October 17, 1925  We done jobs.  Elmer traded cow for two calves.

October 18, 1925  Omar Cowley, Overt Garner, and Golda Day and Ted and Brother Nichols was here.

October 19, 1925  Boys finished cutting cane.  Bessie and I went to Rineyville.  Hugh Lee took us.

October 20, 1925  We cut bushes off wheat at other place.  Cold this morning.  27 above.

October 21, 1925  We cut bushes in morning and finished sowing wheat in evening.

October 22, 1925  Virgil went to Etown.  I cut some bushes.  Elmer helped Jess Cowley sow wheat in evening.

October 23, 1925  Elmer helped Jessie Cowley sow wheat.  Virgil and I finished cutting bushes off our wheat.

October 24, 1925  I went to Etown.  Rained.

October 25, 1925  Tom Sims was here.  Bessie and I went to Mother's in afternoon.

October 26, 1925  We done jobs in morning and commenced church yard fence in afternoon.

October 27, 1925  We worked on church yard fence.

October 28, 1925  Snowed all morning.  I was at Mother's in evening.

October 29, 1925  19 above zero this morning.  We cut and hauled wood at Mother's.

October 30, 1925  Snow 3 inches deep.  We done jobs.

October 31, 1925  We took Charlie Cowley's hog home and hauled in some cane.


November 1, 1925  Virgil's folks was here in evening.  Virgil and I was at Mrs. Lee's in evening.

November 2, 1925  I helped on barn at Mrs. W. A. Day's place.  Boys got in some feed.

November 3, 1925  I helped on barn at Mrs. W. A. Day's place.

November 4, 1925  We dug our late potatoes.

November 5, 1925  Rained all day.

November 6, 1925  I helped on Mrs. Day's barn.

November 7, 1925  I helped on same barn in evening.  Rained in morning and rained big rain in evening late.

November 8, 1925  We stayed at home.  Cleared off today and turned cooler.

November 9, 1925  Elmer and I helped on Mrs. Day's barn.

November 10, 1925  Elmer and I helped on Mrs. Day's barn.

November 11, 1925  We went to sale at Ben Hargan's and hauled load of corn from other place.

November 13, 1925  We hauled corn from Ben Hargin's for Virgil.  Alfred Williams is here.

November 14, 1925  I went to Etown.  Boys hauled in some cane.

November 15, 1925  We was at Virgil's.  Bro. Nichols was here at night.  Rained.

November 16, 1925  We worked on church yard fence.  Bro. Nichols helped.

November 17, 1925  Bessie and I went to Rineyville to see Dr. Rogers.  Hugh Lee took us.  Boys hauled manure.

November 18, 1925  We covered on barn at Virgil's.

November 19, 1925  We finished covering barn at Virgil's and gathered load of corn for Mother.

November 20, 1925  We gathered corn and hauled in fodder at Mother's.

November 21, 1925  We hauled in some cane and fodder.  Truman Cowley come here this evening.

November 22, 1925  Ed Ash's family and Truman Cowley was here.

November 23, 1925  Bessie and I went to Etown.  Boys gathered corn.  Truman Cowley helped 1/2 day.  Gathered 2 loads.

November 24, 1925  We gathered 4 loads of corn.  Truman helped.  Old Lil had calf.

November 25, 1925  We gathered 3 loads of corn.  Truman Cowley helped.

November 26, 1925  We gathered 1 load of corn.  Rained.  I went hunting in evening.  Got 3 squirrels.

November 27, 1925  We got some wood and hauled load of cane.  Turned cold.

November 28, 1925  Old Mable had calf.  Elmer got load of feed.

November 29, 1925  We went to John Masters'.

November 30, 1925  We gathered 2 loads of corn at Mother's and hauled in some fodder and cane.


December 1, 1925  We got some wood for Mother and hauled in some cane.  Truman Cowley came at night.

December 2, 1925  We gathered 3 loads of corn.  Truman helped.

December 3, 1925  We gathered 3 loads of corn.  Truman helped.

December 4, 1925  Rained.  Nothing doing.

December 5, 1925  Boys hauled some cane and fodder.

December 6, 1925  Virgil's folks and Truman Cowley was here.

December 9, 1925  I went to Etown and Rineyville.  Truman Cowley went with me.  Boys finished gathering corn at other place and hauled fodder from same.  Jess Cowley and Ewing Viers helped.  I got 4 sacks of feed, 2 sacks of dry food and 2 sacks of brand.

December 10, 1925  We hauled and stacked fodder.  Jess Cowley and Ewing Viers helped.

December 11, 1925  We finished gathering corn and hauling in fodder.

December 12, 1925  We marked some pigs and done some jobs.

December 13, 1925  We stayed at home.  Bill Smot and Mary Mays came here.  They took the wrong road.

December 14, 1925  We killed hog at Virgil's.

December 15, 1925  I cut some wood in morning and went to Mother's.  Frank Cowley and Lizzie was there.

December 16, 1925  I cut wood.  Boys hauled manure.

December 17, 1925  We killed hog.  Weighed 460 net.  Virgil's folks helped.

December 18, 1925  We worked up lard and sausage and got some wood.  Ben Day come here at night.  Zella Cowley got married.

December 19, 1925  I went to Etown.  Boys cut some wood.

December 20, 1925  We went to church at Sycamore.  Henry Masters was here.

December 21, 1925  Elmer and I hauled 2 loads of wood for Mother.

December 22, 1925  Boys hauled stack of hay from other place.  Snowed all day.  Cold.

December 23, 1925  I went to Etown.  Boys done some jobs.  Cold.  13 above.

December 24, 1925  Bessie and I went to Sycamore School to Christmas Tree.

December 25, 1925  We was at Mother's.  Cold.

December 26, 1925  Mrs. James Lee and family and Virgil Masters and family was here. Turned colder today.

December 27, 1925  3 below zero.  We stayed at home.

December 28, 1925  Zero.  We cut and hauled some wood.  Hugh Lee was here.  I set straw for him.

December 29, 1925  Boys went to Etown to get dry feed.  I done jobs.

December 30, 1925  We was at Virgil's and Mother's.  Ben is here at night.
