Start Point: Chuckles Gas/ Wendy's 202 N. Green St. Henderson, KY  270-930-9370

Hours: Station is open 24 hours, but walk must be done in daylight hours. Please do not park in the front of the Chuckles, park on the side of the building or beside Wendy's. On weekends, you can use the lot behind the Human Resource office located next door to Chuckles/Wendy's.

Awards: This is a credit only event. Credit is $3.00. Those not wanting to walk for credit may walk for free. No refunds given.

This walk qualifies as a River Walk America Event. and Walking Courthouses in the USA

Registration: This is a self-registration event. Go in the store register and ask for the Volks march (walk) box. Follow the instructions in the box to register for and participate in this event. Children under 12 must be accompanied by an adult. You must fill out a start card, and on completion of the walk place it and money if applicable in the SASE and mail. In registering for this event you are expected to observe good volks marching etiquette.

Trail Description: The walk is a 2 on a scale of 1 to 5 with 5 being the most difficult. The trail is in the city sidewalks, along the edge of paved park roads, and on park paths, all in an urban setting. The trail can be negotiated by wheelchairs or strollers, but not all curbs are cut.. Pets are allowed but should be on a leash but not allowed in buildings. You may wish to carry water..

Directions: From the north or south take Highway 41 South to US 60 west which becomes Green Street in Henderson. The starting point is on the left side of US 60 (N. Green St) at Second Street.
