Mollie Wickliffe Crouch 5 (William Smith Crouch 4, Richard 3, John 2, Richard 1) was born June 24, 1866 in Todd County, KY; died June 3, 1904 Todd County, KY [1] , burried in the Jessup Cemetary between Fairview and Elkton, Todd County, Ky.; married James Urile Lockett on June 3, 1888. He was the son of John L. Lockett and Margaret A. Miles. James was born on May 12, 1866 in Williamson County, TN.
"Mollie" was a nickname for "Mary". Was her given name actually "Mary"?
When Mollie had her last child, she became sick with what they have diagnosed now as PPD. James, her husband, put her in mental institution, and put the 2 children in a orphans home. Two of Mollie's sisters got the children out.
Their children were:
1. John Clyde Lockett 6, born 1895 in Todd County, KY; died July 1963 in Powell County, KY.; 1st married Rachael Emily Hunt daughter of John William "Jake" Hunt and Annie Myrtle Satterfield. 2nd married Lucy A. Kirby2. Lillie L. Lockett 6, born 1889. died 1960 in Winchester, Powell Co. KY.; married a Butler.
