1902 Piqua City Directory lists Ed as living with his parents at 509 S. Chestnut with his occupation that of varnisher.
1920 Census states Ed is 37 years. Both parents were born in Ohio and he worked as a conductor for the interurban RR.
1930 US Census states Ed is 47 years and worked as a conductor on street car.
Ed also worked for Miller Meteor, in Piqua, as a painter and later as a night-watchman. Ed loved to fish and was very adept at gathering nuts and berries for his wife's baking and preserving needs. He was a very kind and gentle man. 9
Edwin married Eva Pearl Snavley, daughter of James H. Snavley and Mary Jane Russell. (Eva Pearl Snavley was born in 1882, died on 18 Apr 1958 in Piqua, OH and was buried in Forest Hills Cemetery, Piqua, OH 21 009.)
