Emigrated from Austria to US in 1907 with mother (Marie) and brother, Valentine aboard the Pennsylvania. Became a Naturalized US citizen in 1913.
Per 1920 US Census records, Marie could not read or write and did not attend school. I assume this was due to illness. There is no record of her in 1937 City Directory so she may have died between 1920 and 1937.
Death Certificate states Marie died at home (1542 E. Clay Street) on May 4, 1921 at 2:30 am of Tuberculosis. Occupation is listed as Housework. Marital status is single. The death was reported by her mother. The doctor had last treated Marie May 3, 1921.
