WILLIAM W. WHITMER, one of Covington's representative business men, conducting a furniture store and undertaking business, was born at Covington, Ohio January 4, 1854, and is a son of John and Sarah (Lenhart) Whitmer.
Sarah married John Whitmer, son of Abraham Whitmer and Elizabeth Blouser, in 1840 in PA. (John Whitmer was born on 20 Mar 1811 in Chapman, Snyder Co., Pennsylvania, died on 2 Jan 1906 in Newton Township, Miami County, OH and was buried in Pleasant Hill Cemetery.)
