1840 US Census shows Isaac living with wife [Anna Hayworth] and three children in Newton Twnshp, Ohio.

1850 Census shows Isaac was born in South Carolina and working as a farmer in Newton Township, Miami County, OH with the following children (all born in Ohio):

Per 1880 History of Miami County bio, Isaac arrived in Union Township in 1807 having been on the road six weeks. He worked on his father's farm until 1827 when he started clearing his original 80 acres. Eventually, his farm grew to 250 acres. He was republican, but previously a Whig having cast his first vote for Henry Clay.

"...He has been married three times, first to Anna Hayworth, daughter of James Hayworth, an early pioneer; she was born in 1809, and died in 1849 ; five sons and five daughters were the issue of this union. His second marriage was with Catherine Lowry, nee Rodehamel, of this Township, who was born in 1804, and died in 1863. For his third wife he married Maria Clem in 1864, a native of Maryland, born near Harper's Ferry..."
