Michael Witmer emigrated aboard the Ship Pennsylvania Merchant (Commander was John Stedman) sailing from Rotterdam to Plymouth in 1732. He took the Oath of Allegiance in 1772 in the office of Hasell, Esq, Mayor with other of City Magistrates.
Michael married Barbara after 1732 in PA.243 (Barbara was born about 1704 in Manor Twnshp., Lancaster, PA.)
