Edith never married. She served as a nurse in France in WWI and as a public school nurse in Columbus, OH until retirement.
1920 US Census shows Edith boarding at 411 E. Towne St. in Columbus, OH and working as a nurse in a hospital though most of her working career was spent as a public nurse for the Columbus Public Schools.
After retiring, Edith lived with her mother and brother, John, in Pleasant Hill, Ohio until her passing.
