1910 Samuel, Estella, son Nelson and daughter Margaret were living at 617 S. Wayne St., Piqua, OH.
1920 Sam age 45, Estella age 41, and Nelson M. age 13 were living at 120 W. Leibee Street in Middletown, OH. Sam worked as a night watchman at a tobacco factory and Estella lists occupation as [wall] paper hanger.
At some point, Sam later lived on Isabella Street in Newport, KY and worked at the steel mill and Estella owned and operated the Newport Pie Shop on York Street.
Samuel married Estella Daisy Snavley, daughter of James H. Snavley and Mary Jane Russell. (Estella Daisy Snavley was born on 16 Jan 1878, died on 31 Jan 1973 in Piqua, OH and was buried in Forrest Hill Cemetery, Piqua, OH.)
