General Notes:
Eva worked at the "rolling mill", a division of Orr Felt Company from about age ten until marriage. (Child labor laws did not yet exist) She was well known for her canning, preserving and, especially, for her home-made ketchup. She was skilled at all the homemaking arts including sewing, quilting and thrift.
1902 Piqua City Directory shows Eva and brother James living at Bridge 2 w of Cleveland with parents James H. and M. Jane Snavely.
1920 Census states Eva was 37 and that both of her parents were born in Ohio. She was a housewife.
Eva married Edwin Guy Hall, son of Joseph E. Hall and Martha A. Whitmer. (Edwin Guy Hall was born on 29 Apr 1882 in West Milton, Miami County, OH, died on 14 Jan 1980 in Piqua, OH and was buried in Forrest Hill Cemetery, Piqua, OH.)
