KY CHAMBER OF COMMERCE MURAL PROPOSAL
The sketches below represent landscapes from the western tip of the state of Kentucky to the east, as well as representing the four seasons.

1st is Winter as it appears along the Red River in the Gorge. Next is Autumn in the lakes region of Western KY, such as Lake Barclay, with its poulation of Bald Eagles evident in the tree limbs. The follows Spring as a multitude of blue and purple wildflowers carpet the banks of the Raven Run Creek fairly close to where it ends at the KY River. Lastly, a family of hikers walk a path along the cove at Greenbo Lake State Resort Park in far eastern KY.

Family and home are some themes I would like to allude to in these murals, from the hiking family of humans, to deer peeking from behind the trees in the Spring, the Eagles in Autumn, and maybe some foxes walking across the snow covered frozen Red River in Winter.

The grid pattern below represents the way I would like to piece together the MDO board, cut into 2-foot strips for easy transport, and so as to not waste any of the 4x8' sheets. Below this sketch are relevent paintings I have done, as well as photos (mainly taken by me) of landscapes or subjects similar to those I will render in the murals.
