Exhibit closing reception Friday April 20th, 5-8p.m. during LexArts' Gallery Hop
Join us this April Gallery Hop to see GAMüT: New Work by John Lackey. Pieces include new block prints, new paintings, and a new stop-motion movie with original music. The exhibit will be the first at Homegrown Press Studio & Gallery's new location.
GAMüT is so named not just because John's work contains a range of means of expression, but because "gamut" has meaning in the spectrum of colors in the visual sense, as well as a meaning in music, a range of notes, just as a gradual range is what exists in between any two poles, like political parties, for instance, or approaches to art.
Below are stills from the new stop-motion film made by John Lackey for the GAMüT exhibit.
