In addition to designing and making jewelry or fashioning clay on the wheel, i'm often occupied with my Shih Tzu (Gracie and Jasper), my cat (DeeDee) or mowing or weeding in my garden. [:) housework is usually left til last!] Most days begin with some time spent  reading and studying the Scriptures and having prayer conversation with the Lord.  Jesus/Yeshua is The Delight of my life, my best friend, and my All-in-all!  No matter what is occupying the hours of my day, i can turn to Him in my heart and mind, and tell Him i love Him, ask His help with anything and everything, and tell Him 'Thanks' for all the many blessings He's given me (He is the One Who gives me the best designs for jewelry :)). 

I hope you have a personal relationship with Jesus. But if not, i want to take this brief opportunity to tell you of the Lord God... and His great Love for you! 

God really loves you SO much!! Even before He created the world, He knew you would be born and live during these days. But He also knew that there would be sin to deal with, which began with Adam & Eve when they listened to the devil (the serpent) in the Garden of Eden   And THAT would affect all other human beings born afterward;  we'd all be born with a sinful nature.  Sin is anything that is opposed to God and His Way. It's having the world's value systems and morals instead of God's. The only remedy for sin that will take it away is a sinless sacrifice.  And God knew we wouldn't be able to provide that for ourselves, so He had a Plan in existence from before Creation of the Earth!

In the fullness of Time,  God sent His only Son, Jesus, to live on earth fully Man and yet fully God, to be the sinless Sacrifice meeting all the requirements of the Law. Jesus (or Yeshua as He is called in Hebrew)  paid the penalty for our sins, so that we by choice could receive His Gift of eternal Life.  We could not do that for ourselves in any way because we are sinful beings.  No matter how 'good' or 'bad' we've been in our lives, we all need this merciful Grace of God which He has extended to us, available because of the shed Blood of the sinless Lamb of God, Jesus.  When we accept this Gift, God Himself comes to indwell our hearts by His Spirit, and helps us live new lives that honor Him and help us and those around us.  It's a totally new life ;)  We become God's sons & daughters and have the opportunity to read His Word, the Bible, and talk with Him in prayer, and have fellowship with Him and with others who know Him personally.  All these things help us grow in the knowledge of God our Creator, our Savior and Redeemer, our Sustainer, our Help, our Hope.  Then, when our time on Earth is done, we will be with our lovely and almighty God forever in Heaven.  There is no other way to get there, except through Jesus Christ.
