November 6, 2007, early morning fire destroys large home Lake Lemon, Bloomington Township.
Fire Departments from Brown County and Monroe County responded to the early morning report of a totally involved residence fire. The lone occupant escaped with out injury. She reported a fast burning fire in the basement. Investigators are looking at a wood burning stove as a possible cause. Jackson Township and Fruitdale from Brown County Bloomington and Benton Townships from Monroe County answered the alarm. No injuries were reported.
