Knight Fire Responds to Second Fatality in 24 Hours
Knight Township firefighters responded to their second
motor vehicle fatality accident in 24 hours on Sunday afternoon, August 10, 2008,
at the
intersection of Covert and Fuquay. The passenger on the motorcyclce
suffered fatal injuries when a collision occurred with a car.
The previous
afternoon they had responded to a single passenger car accident on US 41 between
Interstate 164 and Waterworks Rd. where the driver of a SUV was killed when it
flipped. Two passangers were ejected with sever injuries and the driver was
killed.
