Carol Lundy

    Carol Lundy received a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Piano Performance with a Minor in Organ and Fr. Horn from the University of Evansville where she studied with Allene Herron, Dr. Carl Staplin and Dr. Paul Nolte.   After graduation, Carol studied two years with recording artist Annete Weisbrod from the Bern Conservatory, Bern, Switzerland.  She has done extensive accompanying and adjudicating in Switzerland and the U.S.

    A native of Rockport, Indiana, Carol now resides in the McCutchanville area with her husband Dave Lundy.  She has two daughters, Tiffany and Cathy, and a grandson, Will.  A piano instructor since the early 60's, it was through a search for a new method to teach three year old Will that Carol discovered the Harmony Road Music Course created by Jan Keyser.  After receiving specialized training from Harmony Road, Carol expanded her private studio into a school for students ages 18 months through adult.

Robert Hutchinson

    Robert Hutchinson, a native of Boonville, Indiana, began his piano studies at age five.  A co-winner of the 1998 Undergraduate Concerto Competition at Ball State University, Hutchinson graduated with a bachelors degree in choral music education with an emphasis in piano.  In January of 1998 he gave a recital at Mukogawa University in Osaka Japan and in 1999 won first prize in the state IMTA piano competition at Depauw University.  The recipient of a Young Artist Award and the co-recipient of the Carol Herriott Memorial Scholarship sponsored by the Muncie Symphony League, Hutchinson studied with Dr. Robert Palmer at Ball State for 5 years.  Traveling to Vienna Austia in the spring of 2000, Hutchinson studied piano with Manfred Wagner-Arzt and in the spring of 2001 performed with the Kokomo Symphony Orchestra in northern Indiana.  

    Serving the Evansville area as a private teacher since august 2001, Hutchinson was an adjudicator at the Federation Music Festival in spring of 2003.  Robert continues to apply his musical skills as the organist and pianist at Chapel Hill United Methodist Church in Henderson, KY.  Hutchinson is a certified Harmony Road Music Instructor.   

Suzette Ewer

   Suzette Ewer earned her Bachelor of Science in Music degree from the University of Evansville in 1985.  Additional university studies included two summer sessions at Indiana University, in 1983 and 1984.  Ewer has continued her piano studies with Dr. David Brunell from the University of Tennessee and has continued voice studies with Dr. Robert H. Mciver of the Eastman School of Music.  Ewer also studies voice with Dr. Dennis Northway the former director of the Owensboro Symphony Chorus during the summer. 

    Suzette began teaching private piano and voice lessons in 1985 and her students continue to perform in area piano festivals playing one to fifteen memorized pieces.  A member of the American Guild of Piano Teachers, the Indiana Federation of Music Clubs, and a board member of the Evansville K.E.Y. Society her students continue to win prizes and trophies for their performances in area competitions.  Some of her students have been winners of the State School Music Association vocal and piano solo contest at the University of Evansville, receiving superior ratings at both the local and state levels of competition.  Ewer has also served as a Judge for the Phillip Hagemann instrumental competition in New Harmony and for the Federation of Music Clubs competitions.
