Students must play the two selections listed on their entry form.  Any changes in piece selections must be approved by the                                     contest chairman, and a new form is to be typed by the teacher and sent to the chairman no later than one week before the                                     contest.  No changes or substitutions are allowed on contest day.

Students will provide to the judge a clean edition of the published score with the measures numbered.  No photocopies are                                     allowed.  Any student presenting photocopied music without the written permission of the publisher will be disqualified.

All teachers who have students participating in the competition are asked to work on the contest day.  Teachers will receive their work assignment prior to the contest day, and should report to the tab room at 8:00 a.m. on contest day.

Audiences are not allowed in the audition rooms.  Exception:  In the 7 & younger age category, a parent or adult guardian may                                     sit in the audition room if desired by the student.
