Danny Clark

Danny was originally a guitar player who began playing around the age of 13.  A self-taught musician, he learned what he could from other local musicians.  Around 1999 he decided that he should be playing the bass, so he purchased a bass and a practice amp and quickly began learning modern rock songs, everything from Stone Temple Pilots to the Red Hot Chili Peppers.  This proved to be a good decision since he excelled as a bass player.  He was the catalyst that brought this band together and also came up with the name Headcase.  Having listened to just about every form of music out there, his biggest influences are Flea, Les Claypool, Victor Wooten, Jimi Hendrix, and “everything I’ve ever listened to”, he says.  Danny has a great sense of rhythm, can lay down an infectious groove, and has a great attitude.  He plays Spector, Fender and Warwick basses through Ampeg amps/cabinets.  He uses Sabine rack tuners, as well as Dunlop and BBE effects.  Dig it.
