Here are my prized collection of RR items. All these are new and never owned by any RR company except the EMD brass bell. The signals all came from Modern Industries a RR supply company that went was bought out by Harmon. These came from a good friend who was plant manager there and these were his collection. The signal lights and crossing bell are brand new never mounted. No mounting marks are evident on any of the bases just a little wear from my kids.
Here is the list going clockwise around the pictures. The crossing bell is first and the Brass locomotive bell is last.
1. Modern Industries RR Crossing Bell New condition and works great never mounted on a crossing pole. mint.
2. Union switch and signal double sided double position signal. I assume this would be used on a spring switch or something similar. New condition never mounted. Red and green lens DC operation. I have never put bulbs in this.
3. DC relay from old style signal or crossing hut. Modern rebuilt these at there plant and this is one of those. platinum contacts. Heavy glass cover.
4. General railway Signal company Dwarf signal. converted to ac light as you can see it is on in this picture. As new with no marks on the mounting pads. Large handle with locking hasp on the back for a signal lock.
5. Union Switch and signal single light. Made to mount on the side of other lights or signal apparatus. In new condition with Green lens no bulb never used. I really do not know what this is used for.
6. EMD Brass bell. A friend of mine went to a scrap yard around Indianapolis and came back with 3 bells and a set of Air chimes. I traded with him and got 1 bell and the horns. I sold the horns 15 years ago but kept the bell and picked up a mount and the air clapper. I had thought of building a mount out of wood for the bell but I just have not had the time. now I just need the money not the bell.
Offers accepted on all of this but I would like serious offers from collectors, You will not find nicer Items and these are not stolen from any RR because they are new. Just look at the dwarf, General Railway signal has been gone for years.
