The World of Greyhawk is a wondrous realm, filled with magic and imagination. On the pages that follow small portions of the world will be revealed to you. These cobbled together tidbits helped form the basis of many stories and sagas that this poor scribe has had the good fortune to witness and record. The information is frequently seperated from the original tales that helped to give them birth, but this is only done as a convenience for the reader and not meant to detract from the stories themselves. Digging deeply you will also find an, albeit brief, overview of each of these tales. Not all are complete, and more than a few on the path of heroes fell far short of their lofty goals. Be it by the orc's blade or their own personal desires.
Do all the tales end happily? No they do not. Are all the maidens fair and pure and waiting to be rescued? The experiences of adventurers I've come to know would have to say no once again. Are there treasures to be reclaimed and dynasties to be founded? Deeds, both exalted and vile, still to be done? Stories to be written and legends to be forged? On all these accounts the answer is an eternal yes. Many are the souls that walk the paths and thoroughfares of the Flanaess. All live within a world that gives them the opportunity for greatness if they choose to take it. With such a reward comes an equally harsh risk should they fail. But that is the nature of the world.
Welcome to Greyhawk.

![]()
![]() The classic story about diverse group of minor adventurers thrown together by a cruel wizard's whim. These mismatched spirits grow a bond of friendship to overcome any challenge, be it a blocked sewage grate or the collision of the sun itself. |
![]() Heroes who early on discovered the land that held their destiny and then accepting that challenge rose to become defenders of nations, liberators of the oppressed, master statesmen, and loyal comrades who faced the blackest chains of Carceri to save one of their own. |
|
![]() Not all great stories tell of noble heroes and selfless deeds. Within the city of Rel Astra can be found a troupe of adventurers who, while as potent as any saintly hero of Ulek, prefer a more directed quest, amassing wealth. A tale for the mercenary in all of us. |
![]() A tail of thieves. When the self proclaimed greatest conman of Greyhawk plots to recover, restore and loot lost treasures of the world, only the most famous (and infamous) souls to form her band of bandits will do. This is their own embelished story. |

Background Information
Within the sidebars of each page you will find notes, stories, bits of trivia and unusual things that I might find fun to put out there for a campaign. Often these will tie into something on the page that they occupy, or at least end up where they won't be too confusing.
I hope these fun little stories will be useful for all of you and might even help you to enjoy the game that much more.
As an aside, there will also be the occasional add, posting or notice placed just to give you a reminder of the world you are traveling in. if you have any suggestions or ideas of your own on these, please let me know.

Completely overhauled the site. Please let me know what you think. Whenever I update (or as some might say - "if ever I update") it will be on the front page at the top of the list. As it fills up oldest falls off, sounds original doesn't it?
