I decided to try a Kit bike for my winter project and after some searching decided on this kit. Some details of the kit are...
- Revtech 100" HR3 Engine
- Revtech 6speed Transmission
- Santee 230/250 wide tire frame
- Avon 250 x 18" rear tire
- Avon 21" front tire
- 6-gallon Fat Bob gas tanks

This is as far as I got during the first weekend of reassembley. Looks like this may take awhile!
Parts came home from the paint shop (finally!) 4/14/04
Here are some images of my progress after the second week of assembley. As you can see it is coming along nicely. Most of the wiring is run and the oil lines are on. I plan on getting the tanks and fenders on by the end of the week. Notice the quickly emptying shelf of parts!
Sheet metal day! Today I finally caved in and put the tanks and fenders on. I also finished up more of the wiring and partially installed the exhaust.
5/5/04 A date to remember! Cinco de Mayo this year was special because it was the day I started up Goliath and took it for a spin around the block. Sure there are still a few adjustments to make and cables to tie down, but it started right up and it actually motored down the street!
