A small utility for removing CoolWebSearch (aka CoolWwwSearch, YouFindAll, White-Pages.ws and a dozen other names).
Spybot S&D and Ad-aware tend to forget essential parts of the hijack, so until they update, you can use this to completely
remove the hijack. This program is updated to remove the new variants once they come out.

"InstallSpy v2.0"
This is not spyware, but a program to help you discover spyware! Track any and all changes to the registry and file
system, and also record all shell notification events (e.g. media inserted), when a program is installed, uninstalled, or run.
This can warn you of programs trying to install new services, programs that are set to run on reboot, changes to your home page,
etc. It's a highly configurable program that allows you to catch any change to your system. Filtering lets you zoom down to
the details that are most important to you

Favorite"XP-AntiSpy "XP-AntiSpy is a little utility that
let's you disable some built-in update and authetication 'features' in
WindowsXP. For example, there's a service running in the background wich
is called 'Automatic Updates'. I don't know what this service transfers
from my machine to other machines on the internet, especially the MS ones.
So I play it safe and disable such functions. If you like, you can even
disable these function manually, by going through the System and checking
or unchecking some checkboxes. This will take you approximately half an
hour. But why wasting time when a little neat utility can do the same in 1
minute? This utility was successfully tested by lots of users, and was
found to disable all the known 'Suspicious' Functions in WindowsXP. It's
customizeable, but comes up with the Default settings, which are
recommended.

provides easy access to the DOS-based encryption program, Pretty Good
Privacy (PGP). PGP provides extremely secure public key-based encryption and decryption. However, PGP is a DOS-based program that uses a distinctly non-user friendly command line interface. PGPClick takes care of running PGP from within the Microsoft Windows environment. PGPClick integrates with any Windows program that can copy text to and from the Windows clipboard, allowing encryption and decryption of text. This is particularly useful for protecting email communications, as well as providing digital signature functions for email and newsgroup submissions. In addition to clipboard processing, PGPClick can also encrypt and decrypt disk files using Windows standard drag-and-drop. Under Windows 95 and Windows NT, PGPClick can be used to add PGP functionality to the context menu for files within Windows Explorer.
