Currently in a Chieftec Dragon case.
Drive bay silencing mod's as follows:
Rough cut intake, who's going to see it? Plus its far less obnoxious that the noise of two front 80mm fans!
120mm fan Bolted to case panel with elastomer suspension to quieten it even more.
Here's the drive bay bolted in place. The elastomer suspension lowers the hard disk seek noise remarkably.
Removed the lower drive cage mount, cut a front 120mm inlet. The stock 80mm fan mounts are really noisy. Also Seagate 7200.7 drive has LOTS of unbearable seek noise. Mounting the lower cage in the bottom of the case with elastomer suspension drastically reduced noise levels.
It's QUIET!!
WARNING: when you isolate a drive cage like this, you MUST earth it to the main chasis! if you don't you can cause static buildup within the drives and premature drive failure.

Creative Labs Soundblaster Audigy2 ZS Platinum Pro.
Very impressive soundcard, the remote is great, 3 stereo ins. Full size MIDI IN + OUT on back of breakout box.
I think this is without a doubt the best sound card Creative has ever produced. They have the drivers going places now too!
If only they would update / replace Vienna SoundFont Studio instead of expecting musicians to buy the EMU Emulator X Studio card.
